NestProof AI is an educational baby-proofing information service operated for parents, caregivers, and other adults responsible for child safety in the home. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit nestproofai.com or use our mobile app. By using NestProof AI, you agree to the practices described here.

- Account information collected via Firebase Authentication, including your email address and display name - Photos you upload for AI-assisted educational review - Questions and conversations with our AI assistant - Room assessments, playlists, and history of educational content you've reviewed - Usage analytics, including pages viewed, products clicked, sessions, device, browser, and approximate location derived from IP address - Cookies and similar identifiers set by us, by Firebase / Google, and by affiliate networks such as Amazon - Communications you send to support@nestproofai.com

NestProof AI and our service providers use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure traffic, and support affiliate attribution. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect site functionality.

NestProof AI participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. When you click an affiliate link on our site, Amazon (or another affiliate merchant) may set third-party cookies on its own domain. Those cookies allow the merchant to attribute a qualifying purchase to NestProof AI for commission purposes. We do not control these third-party cookies, and they are governed by the merchant's own privacy policy. We do not directly receive personally identifiable information from Amazon about your purchase activity. Amazon provides us with aggregate earnings reports — for example, the number of items ordered, items shipped, and total commissions — without identifying who you are or exactly what you bought as an individual. You can opt out of affiliate tracking at any time by clearing cookies in your browser, blocking third-party cookies, using your browser's privacy or tracking-protection controls, or browsing in a private / incognito window before visiting Amazon. Opting out will not affect the price you pay on Amazon, and there is never an additional cost to you for using our links.

We rely on a small set of trusted providers to operate NestProof AI. Each provider maintains its own privacy policy, and you should review it to understand how they handle your information: - Amazon Associates Program — affiliate link tracking and commission attribution when you click outbound product links to Amazon - Firebase / Google — authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Functions, hosting, and analytics for the website and mobile app - Google Gemini — AI model that processes your photos and questions to generate educational responses - SendGrid — transactional email delivery, such as playlist invitations and account notifications - Privacy-respecting analytics providers, where used, to understand aggregate traffic patterns These providers process data on our behalf or, in the case of Amazon, in connection with their own services after you click an outbound link.

Photos you upload are processed securely to surface common baby-proofing topics that may be worth a closer look. We do not sell your images and we do not use them for advertising. Photos are stored encrypted at rest and can be deleted at any time from your account.

Our AI analyzes your photos and questions to share general educational information. Conversations may be used in aggregated, de-identified form to improve our AI; we do not link this aggregated data back to your personal identity.

NestProof AI is intended exclusively for adults — parents, caregivers, and other adults aged 18 or older who are responsible for child safety in a home. The service is not directed to children, is not designed for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. In accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), if we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@nestproofai.com and we will take appropriate action. Photos and content uploaded by adult account holders may incidentally include images of children. Those images are processed only to provide the educational review the account holder requested and are subject to the protections described elsewhere in this policy.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. - Right to access: you can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. - Right to deletion: you can delete individual photos, conversations, or your entire account from within the app at any time, or request that we delete your information. - Right to correction: you can request that inaccurate information be corrected. - Right to opt out: you can opt out of marketing communications at any time, and you can opt out of affiliate tracking by managing cookies as described above. - California residents (CCPA / CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information. - EU / UK residents (GDPR / UK GDPR): you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email support@nestproofai.com from the address on your account. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure.

NestProof AI is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
